Simulated Chrome Coating

The chrome plating process is on the way out. The European Union has banned the use of chrome and the United States will ultimately follow. There are many reasons, but the main motivation is that the chrome plating process is very toxic to our environment. Chrome is also extremely vulnerable to corrosion and easily damaged. Chrome wheels require careful maintenance to retain their look and to avoid corrosion. Chrome is also considered not to be repairable.

Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists now offers an alternative to these problems with a new simulated Chrome Coatings* like Brite Chrome or Black Chrome. We can convert any silver wheel to this "chrome like" finish. The manufacturing processes are environmentally friendly and, if damaged, they are possible to repair.
